Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looks like something was photo-shopped out of the road just past the speed limit sign but nice pic regardless.

Hadsel Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Hadsel Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Hadsel, just east of the town of Stokmarknes on the island of Hadseløya. My Great Grandmother was baptized in this church.

You were just in Mallorca too, no? Would love to see some empty road photos from there as well!

^a decent stretch of the most scenic part repaved. most of the approach/retreat from/to borrego springs a mix of pretty good, decent and meh.
east of the san diego/imperial counties shared border (at the giant communications tower), the pavement quality gets worse. much worse.
still...the s22 for 5 miles or so is golden in terms of visuals. not as desolate as it was 15-20 years ago but still low traffic.
