Need help with Ziegler-lam mtn bike
First off, apologies if the photos are upside down, but no matter how I rotated and saved them the photo manager wanted to save them upside down.
Alright, I just got this bike and know absolutely nothing about ZLC besides what I found on the internet, a small company that made bikes in the late 90s and early 2000s, claim to fame was the super gear crankset that gave you the ability to pedal in reverse....besides that I know nothing. I saw no pictures or info on this particular bike the writing says Unlimited ZLC Super Gear 2000. It is spec'd out decently and may be a carbon body. Its pretty heavy though, but it aint metal, really looks like early carbon. FD, RD and gripshifts are SRAM 5.0, brakes are SRAM 7.0, Top Gun fork, Aricle handlebars and Kimlin x2 Guard wheels. Their website is also defunct, although they did put it on the saddle. There is no serial number or any identifying marks. Besides that, I have nooooo idea what the heck this is and if there is any value to it. It is in pristine condition though I don't think it was actually ever ridden, only issue is a scratch on the seat stay. Possible prototype? I found it in WA not too far from Kent, the wife of the owner sold it to me, she was frazzled from moving and didnt have any info. Thanks.

The whole operation had to be local. I found that bike in the Everett area many years ago, thought it was pretty cool.

Yup. They were based in Kent, WA. It's interesting that the SuperGear cranksets were made in Richland... I hadn't realised their manufacturing wasn't 100% local to the south King County area.
