Thanks for the welcome! Robbie will definately have to be your go to guy on the pics of bikes, as I think my wife let me get away with this build, but not sure there is another one in my future. I will get pic posted when the white stem comes in.

Good thing it's big. I need to stand on a stool just to get on it.

@ Soloist Assasin - How do you like the egg beaters on the road bike? I am a MTB convert because I now live in the flatland, but I'm not quite sold on the road pedals. Still having trouble clicking in with the onesided pedal even after 5 months of riding with them.

They are alright. I use them on this bike to commute to work on so I can wear MTB shoes, that are easier to walk in. For road riding, I prefer a proper road shoe. They simply have too much float. I don't like the one sided shoes like the Look, or Shimano style. I have had those in the past too. I actually use Speedplay pedals on my real road bike. They are two sided entry, and work well, and with the Zero models, you can adjust how much float you have. They are great.

I ride with an LBS owner, and he's been showing up with it on his bikes. Looks good. I've been playing with some Cinelli tape that shows great promise, as well. We all know my penchant for white tape, and we all know what happens to white tape pretty quickly. This Cinelli stuff is staying nice and white so far:

Here is the final product - Robbie Tunes has got it set up - the only thing I'm not really hot about is the saddle. It may grow on me, but white is definatley the color for the bike.

I'm new to this whole staging the bike thing so take it easy on the critism.
Miyata Team Carbon 1993 with Shimano ultegra 6600 (expt. FD Ultergra 6500 and Wheel - Richtey).

You know I'll just be waiting for you to hate the saddle...right here with my wrench....
I think it came out well, the balance of black/white is remarkable.

Thanks to afilado for helping us find the frame. It is just excellent.
Thanks to junkfoodjunkie for an essential part, rat fink for another, and Ex Pres for a part he sent but we ended up not needing (but I'll use, no doubt about it).

Bring on the Blue Ridge Parkway. This triple is more than ready, my triple is ready, and all we need is time....
I'm sort of waiting for the next group ride....we'll ask the ugly bikes to ride in the back....

Now, I need a 56cm....

Color matching the saddle and hoods looks great. That frame looks awesome. I need to find out more about these old carbon frames as I've seen a couple on this thread and I dig all of them.

what components do you have on yours (i cannot really tell from the pics). i've got ultegra 9 speed shifters for mine. might end up leaving the stock BB/crank (hopefully they work). also 8 speed generation 600 derailleurs. will post pictures when done.

Recently completed Merckx. Pretty much all Ultegra save the seatpost and headset. Cinelli stem and Nitto Noodle bars.

I have a full Force group on it minus the brakes which are Tektro, but the Force brakes will be going on once I upgrade the brakes on my Cervelo. I had t mount the rear brake backwards to fit on the 700c wheel, or get long reach rear brake. The front is no issue, because I bought a 1" threadless Kinesis 700C fork. I still need to take good pics. Oh yeah I crashed it the other day too. It seems my egg beaters hang down lower than my speedplays I am used to. It resulted in allot of road rash, but the bike was okay.

Nice! One thing I would change is the Brooks. Get a black one!! And, get a wireless computer. Then the bike will look perfect, with all the nice Campy parts and all!
