Should I throw away my US Postal Service and Livestrong jerseys?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Are we supposed to instead wear our LeMond jerseys?

I was riding White Rock Lake ( a local riding hot spot) a couple of weeks ago and saw this along the way

As a cancer survivor I have no qualms about wearing my Livestrong jersey, though.

True, that. You'll probably stand out in a crowd in those badboys.
I never see any other Mondrian jerseys at the crowded rides I go to, and at least once per event, even if I'm waiting at a crowded starting line, strangers come up and say "T'sup Calamari?"

Throwing them away is so permanent. Eventually everything comes back in style.

If you decide to sell it on the bay, definitely don't describe the item like this even thou it sold .

I saw a photo of a kid in Africa wearing a 1994 San Diego Chargers Super Bowl XXIX World Champions cap, while his dad wore what looked like a loincloth with a Chargers XXIX World Champions T-shirt. Now, I know where all the failed winners memorabilia end up!!!

I still have my USPS jersey and wear it on (rare) occasion. My brother works for the Post Office so it's more for him at this point. Lance really f'd it up. Thanks a lot, loser. Above my computer is a small signed poster of the USPS team, Johan and Lance, of course. Haven't given it much thought but its starting to bother me now.

How many regular folks are going to know that Lance raced for USPS? The Livestrong jersey can be for cancer. They are still around and help people with cancer.

EBAY.

I saw a Maillot Jaune from the Lance era w/ the USPS badges on it that fetched for $500 last month.

Your USPS might fetch $30 and up. The Livestrong not too much.

Seriously, who cares.

I don't see any problem as long as you are on PED's while wearing them ... otherwise it would be a bit silly, right?
