The plastic ones are actually vintage. The Brooks are relatively new.

My most interesting saddle, I think, because of the proprietary micro adjust seatpost that came with it.
It is part of a current Trek 5500 OCLV build I am doing right now that unfortunately was delayed by a change of jobs that happened last year. Hoping to finally finish it this year when I find and acquire the right DA drivetrain for the frameset.

My favorite is not different than a lot of others in terms of the manufacturer. Mine is a bit old as it was sold with the Le Champion in 1972. It has seen better days.

I found that the Flite is good for about 30 miles but the Brooks has no limit.

I have a swift but it isn't broken in yet.

The Concor does not agree with me. I need to replace it at some point. Others like it so I thought I would try it out. White was to go with the stockers white saddle.

Today's Saddles...
Two new saddles. One, a classic. The other a true eighties special, but apparently a dead end, conceptually.
Close-up of the nose, (with a stem and headset I've never seen before). I love finding new stuff!

I've been riding this '64 Legnano Roma for 56 years. The original Brooks B17 died in a rain storm 4 or 5 years ago, to be replaced by a nearly new one. Last April, I came across a barn find '64 Legnano Gran Premio with an old Brooks Professional. After a little treatment, the old Pro shined up pretty nice, and is very comfortable. My newest acquisition is a Cambium C17 for my 2007 Roubaix. I wanted Brooks feel, with modern all weather protection. Not as comfy as the leather B17, but close.
B17s, old and newish.
New C17.

Here's a few I found pics of.
Dupes on Palace and Gyes.
One worn out and dried.
and a new SelleAnatomica. Came from the factory untensioned, first that’s happened to me. No prob just different.
Rolls (not a Regal - thx P!N20 ) is comfy for some, but not a distance saddle for me

Apparently 2 separate timers, We used an adjustable electrical flow tonight to mimic the proper battery and found both timers are working! Now to get a battery and find a copy of the manual.

Is it just the two timers or does it have other functions? I've never seen one of those before.

This was my favorite saddle for a long time until the nylon shell finally began to crack during a ride. I got home, but the crack had gotten more than halfway across the width of the saddle by the time I did - surprised the nose didn't snap off. Unfortunately, there was nothing to be done and it was consigned to the trash
Here's a pic of it on the Drillium Alpina before I pressed it into service on the Colnago Super:
And here's the damage:
Here's one you don't see every day (especially in C&V, but in my defense it's on a KOF bike built in 2002):

Imagine explaining why you caught a wheel and crashed... Maybe why it was a short lived innovation.
I doubt if it's more than the timers. The electronic unit itself is tiny, and remember, this was made in the eighties! I need to search for a manual. I don't even know how to reset it.

I had this Ideale #45 , which was a nice looking saddle, but was the wrong shape and rode like a hammer.
My "Pre-Softened Brooks Professional
This one's actually one of my favorites.
