Trek 7.3 FX and similar clones INFO wanted

Looking for aluminum winter bike w aluminum fork also.. no carbon forks. Something w rough-ish paint etc.. maybe a drive train in need of replacement .. mostly a frame/fork purchase.

7.3's look the part as made in some yrs minus the composite forks.. Q becomes.. Giant and others make about same bike configurations.. what are those?

Your referrals per types and 'for sales' would be appreciated.. any flavor badge so long the criteria same.

FRAME size.. 22.5 for 25's only. In central Wis.. would have the right bike shipped if cost in line.

Thanks.

If you're interested in buying bikes, BikeForum has a classifieds section. We don't buy/sell in the individual sub-forums like this one. Giant's Escape line is the same concept as the FX from Trek. Specialized has the Sirrus, and Cannondale has the Quick. There are a plethora of other options, too, but those are the mainline choices that you'll likely see for sale used.

Lots of guys go thru all Craigslist ads... was more looking for their finds. CList search finds very little of what's out there. Assume a PM avenue also............... ---> bad hair day edit<------

THE END..

It appeared to me that your post was a "want to buy" post, so I referred to you to the classifieds section on BikeForums -- because the moderators keep the buying and selling stuff cleaned out of the other forums like this one. I also answered your other question about hybrids like the Trek FX from other brands. No animosity was intended; I'm sorry you read it that way.
