OPEN (WI.DE) vs Moots, or carbon vs titanium
Planning a new distance/bikepacking build and thought I'd settled on Moots, but then the new Open WI.DE was announced and I'm reconsidering. The WI.DE would save quite a bit on the frame, and Open has a nice warranty program with good experiences from people in my country. Thoughts on these bikes, or carbon vs Ti generally?

Technology: the WIDE with the two dropped chain stays was essential for handling the wider tires. Q-factor stays the same. Moots question would be how the issues were handled when it now allows for the different tire sizes.
Call Moots and then email Gerard Vroomen.

Been planning this build for years now. New options will always come to marketing you never act.
The frame with the best geometry for you is what I would hope you would consider.
Example- the Open wouldn't ever be an option for me due to the largest size having to low of a stack and to short of a rach for my liking. I am a few inches from the top of that height chart and wouldn't ride the frame...I can't imagine someone 6'8 riding it! 62cm stack and 39cm reach for a 6'8 rider?...seems cramped.
