Frame info HELP PLEASE

hi, my 2014 27.5 norco sight alloy 7 1.5 frame has recently snapped! and I知 looking too get a new frame. I have come across a Titus el viajero frame that I think might be suitable for the components I have stripped from my Norco, but I知 still fairly uncertain despite most of the info matching up! I was hoping someone might be able to help? Unfortunately I am unable to attach pictures. I was wondering if anyone was able to look up the Titus el viajero frame which is on www.on-one.co.uk
and let me know if my 140mm fox 32 float fit performance tapered forks would fit? Along side my fox 32 ctd rear shock. Thanks!

moved here from framebuilders.

It would help if you would list your areas of confusion about this.

Sorry everyone I知 really unfamiliar with mtb building and specifications atm but I知 studying it daily. Thanks again

I think you need ten posts before you're trusted to post links or pics.

Go have chat about stuff in the MTB forum and come back.

It looks like @Draker had attempted to upload some spec sheets.

His Album/Gallery page:
https://www.bikeforums.net/g/user/504053
https://www.bikeforums.net/g/album/14820634

I assume the first page is from the donor bike (Norco), and the second and third pages are from the frame bike (Titus el viajero)

So, your Norco lists a headset:
FSA #57E Tapered Internal 1.5 to 1 1/8.

The Titus lists the headset:
FSA Orgit 1.5 ZS No 57E
8mm stack.

So, jumping over to the FSA website:
https://shop.fullspeedahead.com/en/no-57e-3425

So, the 57E with 8mm stack is listed for a tapered fork.

So, as long as the steer tube is the right length, you should be fine with the fork.

What accessories are included with the frame you are buying? In particular, does it include the headset.

So, both bikes have the 57E headset.... so even that should swap.

Looking at other specs:
Norco seatpost: 30.9
Titus seatpost: 31.6

So, you'll either need a new seatpost, or to use a shim (but if you frequently adjust the post, you'll want a new one).

I haven't used the MTB shocks much, so I assume they are universal, but don't have any details. Your orientation is different between the two bikes, but I assume the length of the shock is important.

Ok, here is the Norco website:
https://www.norco.com/bike-archives/...ight-alloy-72/

And the Titus:

Overall, I'd expect most of your components to swap over, except the seatpost as mentioned.

Hi sorry for the delay I have had allot on the past few weeks. Thanks so much for the info it痴 helped allot! Ive been studying allot and I知 starting to get too grips with a few things I was struggling with! As for what accessories come with the frame, I知 unsure as it does not state any info on the website. And I did spot that but I am able to work around a few complications! Dropper seat etc. money is somewhat an issue but overtime I can make things work worst comes to worst, the rear shock is my main issue as it seems like the most expensive component. Other than that I think I知 going to go ahead and order the frame. Maybe a bit of a brash decision considering my current knowledge on the subject! but with common sense I知 sure I can overcome most issues and hopefully keep things a considerable amount cheaper than buying a full new bike. Thanks again mate any help is greatly appreciated. Have a good day.
