Well, the scale says I'm back

205, but still down 4 inches in the waist and my suits and dress shirts all still need to be taken in a bit, so I guess it's more muscle somewhere.

After a lazy year of exercise and 2 weeks in Florida, working 12+ hour shifts and eating nothing but fast food (yeah yeah I know it's bad for me) I'm also up to 204 as of this morning from a low of 160. Time to setup the pain cave for the winter I guess.

I hate both of you guys. :-) I was down to 284 this morning. I'd drifted from 280 or so up to 305-310 during two years of no cycling, and am working my way back down. My "dream" weight is around 225, and I seriously doubt I could go much lower than that without catching a wasting disease or something. You guys and your 205 lbs!

Sheeit!! I'm still feeling good about dropping from 286 to 255. I haven't been below 200 in 20+ years. I'll be happy when I get back in the 220's.

286 here this morning ... up just one pound from 285 that I was at prior to Thanksgiving. I've been a little more indulgent than I should be lately, so I'm glad I'm not up more than that.

Immediate goal is to get through Christmas and New Years at +/- two pounds or so.

But after the holidays it's time to get back at it seriously, and get that remaining 22 pounds of my goal done and lost before the Spring, so I can get my new bike.

I'd love to get back down to 260ish. Lowest was around 255, but I couldn't get down past that. If I could get to 250 that would be pretty amazing. Former football player ... I doubt I'll ever get into the low 200s.

I didn't weigh myself this morning, but I've been in the 284/285 or so range lately. I did a 50-mile bike ride on the morning of Thanksgiving, ate one good plate of food and three small bowls of dessert, then was firmly back on the wagon. With the three bowls of desserts that was quite an indulgence, but I was at someone else's house and I knew that as soon as I walked out their door it was over, and back into strict mode. I did a 32 mile ride the day after Thanksgiving, then a nice fast group ride that Sunday. By Monday morning I was already a pound down from my pre-Thanksgiving week, so I managed to get through that one OK.

I'm eating carefully and riding hard right now with a plan for how I'm going to get through the Christmas/New Years holiday with not only not gaining weight, but in fact dropping some more. The plan right now is to pick two occasions (depending on family plans that might be upgraded to three occasions) where holiday food will be plentiful and tempting, like family Christmas parties, and allow myself to indulge on those specific occasions. Outside of those I will be strict, like not eating up the plates of cookies brought over by neighbors and whatnot. By giving myself those occasions of indulgence I can avoid the temptation to just go off the rails the whole time and gain a bunch of weight over the holidays. I can still enjoy it, but keep it reasonable.

We'll see how it goes but I'd like to see the 270s before the end of the month, and I think it's going to happen, if not sooner.

I moved back up north in July and went from 194 to 215. I changed jobs with the same company and pretty much quit riding and running, I do lift weights four or five days a week and my pants are not 20 lbs tighter but I have lots of work to do.

I am about 280 myself, but I haven't weighed myself recently. I go more by a less scientific measure - how do the pants fit (or more precisely, which belt loop am I on), and I am guessing I am down about 1-2" since I started Zwifting back in early Oct (I was pretty much sidelined the month of Nov due to bronchitis). Given all of that (along with the usual holiday goodies), I am pretty content with the way things are heading.

Once we get into the new year, I will try and increase my mileage. I may need to have to try a different seat however. I used to like this one a few years back, but I can only stand about an hour in the saddle right now. I might swap in the Brooks that I have on my other bike.

Yeah another jealous Julie here. The last time I was 200 lbs was about 9 years ago, just before I started my new career path and it's steadily gotten worse and worse. My job is not good for my health!

When I was that weight though I was running up and down mountains and I really hope I see it again.
