Anyone know how tight the clearance is with a 700 x 23 tire?

I was hoping it would be a bit tighter. Im gonna drop Gene a line and see if the undrilled ones are any different.

How is this fork? I'm looking into it.. I really don't like the stock Pista fork. I'm just a little worried that spending the extra money won't be worth it and that it will look dumb and a green Pista.
