Need help with building a 4 wheel bike

Hi I need some help, ideas or plans, anything with building a four wheel bicycle. I would prefer it to be built out of pvc or something light, but anything would do. It would have to have 2 people to pedal.

Thanks

Google four wheel bicycle plans. You'll get lots of hits even though "four wheel bike" is an oxymoron since by definition a Bicycle has two wheels.

Here's a 3 wheeler. The designer likes 3 so the frame does not have to bend and stress on uneven ground.

Here is how one builder fitted it out...

build 4 wheel bike - pedal car

In spring I got idea to build a 4 wheel pedal car for my son. To use wheels from old bicycles, to make it as small and light and simple as possible and to make it possible to fit even an adult person.

I was really disapointed surfing internet, as I found almost no free ideas, plans or experiences how to do it. It is no nuclear science, people would invest millions in their know-how, so they would need to hide it!

It's autumn now and our car is done. I decided to share my experiences and detailed photos as free plans with other people, interested in self building pedal car of that kind.

I wanted my 9 years old son to learn basics of construction and working with metal and wood. He did almost all hand works by himself and he is very proud on it. It is a very good way to move your child away from TV and computer games!

It is all on our web site

I'd avoid PVC. I have seen that pretty red one in ads here and there. It is not cheap, but it is probably bargain priced given all the Chromo and labor involved to make it. Might be investment time... If you can find a way to pay for it, it would seem to be a very right answer.

Look up spiller.si/pedalcar/en
Lots of information you just need to use google to covert cm to inches.
I have all the pictures and documentation on my computer.
I can send it all to you via email apoorboy@earthlink.net
