Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

This was really great. I've been seeing Squid all over the place lately but it's nice to get an update on Him, Amy and Kid since Red Light Go came out in 2005 or so. I am planning on moving to NYC in the next couple years (whenever my GF and I finally graduate) but I would definitely want to work for Cyclehawk if I was runnin' envelopes up there. They seem like they are really down to earth and care about putting the messenger's needs first. That's really solid. Just wanted to say that it was a good watch and I would sure love to see more!

****'s ****ing sick

also, why does it seem like all the bmx riders are running really small chainrings these days?
it seems like a couple of years ago when i was getting into bmx a little bit, they were running bigger chainrings, or maybe my memory is just warped.

yeah, i have noticed that too. are they smaller so they can get up on the lip at skateparks and whatever without locking up? purely trick riding i imagine. can't imagine those hessians who use them to ride across town would think it was good.
