Light 20" fork for integrated bearings?
I don't need strength, won't be doing racing or tricks. I just need a light-as-affordable fork for my 2017 Redline MX Expert 20". Preferably from Amazon or eBay (USA). Would like to spend no more than $100.
The head tube is made for integrated bearings, my first experience with that.
I accidentally destroyed the fork that came with it.
Thanks.

A light fork will do little or nothing for you (a fork only weighs a couple pounds in the first place) and it's a bit odd that you have no concerns about strength after destroying the previous one.

"Strong, cheap and lightweight. Choose two." IIRC Keith Bontrager was heard saying this. Andy

Being unconcerned about strength is not "odd". The accidental destruction of the stock fork had nothing to do with its strength.

If Redline doesn't have replacement parts for their bikes look to another brand. I would make me feel very confident about their current product. Years ago I had a 20 inch Redline BMX and had no problem getting replacements for things I needed. Roger

Think I figured out what's going on... My Redline fork headset does not include a bottom wedge/spacer that would stick up into the bearing to center it. Instead, the Redline fork itself has a built-in wedge/spacer. Apparently modern forks have a flat platform, not including the bottom wedge/spacer. They expect that part to be included in the headset. Makes sense (right or wrong). Seems that's the way it is.
