I wonder why the lower pulley is bypassed. Frankly, if you have an evaporust bath, drop that hunk of rust in and see what it looks like in 24 hours.
EDIT: This matches a Shimano Eagle-SS derailleur from Shimano. If you squint at the rust on the outer plate, you can make out "Fcole."
Sorta like a nethack eroded engraving...

Looking for a few things to complete an upright commuter bike. Has Huret dropouts, so I have mostly French bits on there (Huret, TA), but open to anything really. It's more or less a parts bin bike.
-Lyotard 460D (or similar) pedals. Have a set with French-threading, but need some with English threading
-Upright handlebar/City bike levers (with 22.2mm clamps). Don't want it to be too upright though. I like the shape of Nitto Jitensha or VO Postino/Porteur bars, so would prefer something along those lines.
-Chainstay derailleur cable guide
-Clamp-on downtube shifters. Bike is from the early 70's, so something period appropriate is preferred, but again not too picky.
Have lots of random parts kicking around. Derailleurs, brake levers/calipers, handlebars, pedals, small parts, etc. Let me know if there's anything you're looking for. Thanks!

Not a Positron. Looks like one of those attempts at copying the Huret/Schwinn derailer guards.
Probably quite appropriate to throw a 1970's Shimano derailer on this thing.
Nope, it really is run incorrectly, unless that derailer was meant to work like an old pull-chain Simplex

I have stems coming out the wazoo but the particular 3TTT Record stems I'm looking for were produced from 1970? to 1973.
They came on a lot of better quality Italian bikes from that era plus Raleigh Pro, Team Pro and RRA models, and Motobecane Le Champions.
Cinelli stems and the 2nd generation 3TTT Record stems were elegant but there's something about the mechanical sculptured look of those early 70's Record stems....

Looking for some early 70's 3TTT RECORD stems for some frames I'm building up. 75mm to 95mm length.
These stems were produced in inch (22.2mm) and metric (22.0mm) diameter quills. The standard bar diameter was 26mm but stems for 25.4mm (1") bars were produced for the UK market.
They were my favorite stems BITD so I'm open for whatever you might have. I have repop decals for them plus lots of Semichrome...

Those 3T Record and Gran-Prix stems have best aesthetics. I am currently working on a project that will include a Record stem.

In '75 they seemed oldy-timey to me. I was a weight-conscious techno-geeky type. Think drillium/Radial hi-e front wheel. When I got a track bike that February, I replaced the chrome Cinelli bars and stem with a Mavic, and alloy bars. Yeah, I know, now. I wasn't even 17. Comfy chair, for sure.

I was a bit of a hamfisted mechanic and stripped the binder bolt plate on my Laprade seatpost. I'm in need of the aluminum style of clamp. Alternatively, I would take a 26.6 seatpost as long as it has fluting and is in good condition. Except the Sugino "KC" style. Ain't nobody need those in their life.

Motobecane bar wrap - one-piece fake stitched
This actually looks pretty good. It's from a MB Interclub tandem I'm strippping. I'm pretty sure I can get it off without any tears, how you winkle it back on to a set of bars is up to you. It had Mafac Racers and the housings were INSIDE the black extended-bits - I figure you have to shove them on before you slid the whole arrangement on.
The stem end has a bit that says BREV MOTOBECANE and FAB HUTCHINSON:
What I'm after:
Triomphe 170 left crank arm
one - or two - old style single-side friction shifters that mount on the stem.
Girardengo decals
broken gold-anodized SLJ front mech (I only need the arm to which the cable bolts)
broken Gran Sport rear gear (I only need one round bit that sits between the knuckle and the cage)
two TA ref 64 crank ring bolts/washers/nuts - the one that fit in the 6-bolt circle

The one I had was too long for your needs, but it was from 1972. It was the right model, but wrong length. Another forum member scooped it up. They are nice stems!

Looking for an International frameset in size 56-58. Would prefer a frameset as this is more of a self-proposed build project, but I might consider a complete bike if the price was good. I have some things I would be willing to trade, but in the case of trades I would prefer to deal locally in the South-East Wisconsin or Northern Illinois area.
