1974 Motobecane Grand Record - sell as is or fix up?
All,
I own a 1974 Motobecane Grand Record. It needs tires (sew-ups), seat, and front derailleur clamp (original clamp broken), otherwise is good shape. All original parts with exception of front crank set. Wish to sell, but not sure if I should buy tires, seat, and clamp or sell as is. Any thoughts?

Hard to give advice without pics but you’re likely better off selling it as unless you do your own work and have access to inexpensive parts. Tubular wheels hurt the value of the bike.

I do a full overhaul and refurb on every one I sell, no matter the level of bike.
But I don't have a life.
Wait! No, no, I enjoy it. I enjoy the process. That's it. That's why. Whew!
