Lemond Zurich 853
Going to test ride one in a day or 2. I haven't found the exact year yet. It is this color.https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lemond-Zuri...-/143657552033 but it has Ultegra and Mavic pro rims. Would this be a carbon fork, and is there anything to be concerned about there? Basically, Is there anything specific to these bikes I need to watch out for and check closer?
I can get this bike for $600. If it is mechanically sound, would this be reasonable? Size is right between my 2 favorite bikes and I have a longer torso build and usually need my saddles all the way back. I wish I could drop $2k on a new bike but this would be my attempt at a nice steel frame bike I could afford. The 2 favorite bikes I mentioned are an 80's Trek 400 with lugged True Temper and a 1983 Miyata 610. I wish the Trek were slightly longer and the Miyata slightly smaller. I love the fit of the Miata, but really wish top tube was 1/2" lower. The Miyata is a 25 frame and my Trek 400 is a 22.5" frame. The Lemond I am going to try is a 23.5" frame.

$600 is a little steep but that's probably where the market is. I bought mine for $250 with 8 speed, and spent another $200 on tires and cabling, cassette, bar tape at the LBS. Sweet bikes but will probably only fit a 28mm tire. I eventually passed mine on because the toptube was too long.
