Good looking bike and my size, . This has a Vitus 172 main triangle and my favorite downtube shifters of all time. This bike is worth $80 all day long even before the pandemic.

Wish I was there. I'd gladly buy that. Even if it meant getting pepper sprayed for the effort.
My first serious bike, bought with my own money, was a brand spankin' new 1976 Motobecane Mirage, hi-ten frame, nothing special, but I loved that bike and rode the heck out of it for six years while I was in the Navy.

1976 Motobecane Grand Touring
$80 Bucks is a steal at twice the price! Grand Theft Bike!
The bike should ride and handle just like the next model up Grand Jubile.
The butted main frame tubing has a wall thickness of .7mm x 1.0mm which is the same for both Vitus 172 used on the Grand Touring and the version of Reynolds 531 used on the Grand Jubile.
The forks and rear stays are probably the same Motobecane light gauge carbon steel tubing.
