Losa identification

Hi everyone!

I found this frame. It is nice with intense patina, so to speak. It says LOSA on the seatstays. Other than that and some WC and Columbus decals it is orange. No brand...

AFAIK, Losa was a contract builder for many brands, can anyone guess who this one was for?

Many Thanks

What a beauty! I had a no name Losa frame that I gave to a fellow forum member (Abarth)...Very similar. Anyways, I'm guessing that since your seat stay caps say Losa that it was actually marketed as their own.

giovanni "vanni" losa (OFFICINA MECCANICA GIOVANNI.LOSA) has for years sold his own full line of complete bicycles, framesets & customs from his vittuone, milano shop in addition to subcontracting for cinelli(gruppo, spa) and many others.

Hi!
I think I have a Vanni Losa bicycle, It has got all the "V"s and Losa pantographed on the seat stay. However it has a crown on top of the fork and I don't know waht to make of it...

Hi, Welcome aboard, glad you found us.

10 year old zombie thread here and that's ok.

May take awhile to get it wound back up.

Also, we need pic's, good ones and lots of them, get your post count up to 10 so you can show us, we can't help much without them.

Pic assist ( streik - is this the correct pic?):

The frame above is a Losa made one. The fork crown panto is one that you will usually find on Piero Zurino frames built by Losa:

Although it does pop up on Losa frames marked under other brands, like this Weros below:

streik Any chance of uploading a pic of that head badge?

When I bought the bicycle it had recently been painted and the seller had put "Sagres" stikers all over it. Sagres is also a portuguese beer brand (and a region).

The seller told me it was all "chromed like" the paint. I didn't took off the paint because I like original bicycles and I was afraid to damage it.
I'm still waiting to be able to post pictures.

Crazy zombie thread right when I need it! What do you all make of this Losa? I can get it for $150, should I? Does the fork look like an add on to anyone else?

An EL OS Losa for $150? Even with the mismatched fork, it's a deal, if it isn't damaged.

I can't tell from the blurry picture, but check the downtube carefully. There may be damage.
