I was wondering is there any fellow bicycle commuters that bike from Bayonne NJ- Brooklyn thru Journal Square in Jersey City. If so on average how long does it take you. Taking my time I find it takes me to bike this route also going over the Brooklyn Bridge to my job which is approximately 1 1/2 miles south of there if takes me 1- 1 1/2 hours. Should I be there center looking at times. Or just enjoy the ride. Any thoughts on the matter?

Commuting isn't a race (at least not in Europe.)
Enjoy the ride and arrive where you're going with a smile

Ask google maps. You can give it endpoints and midpoints. Once it makes a route, you can drag it through streets and intersections you know you'll be in. I guessed you'll work in DUMBO. This route is said to take an hour and 11 minutes.
