I would like a few tips about bike rentals in these locations, along with "you have to ride *here*" stories.


I don't have my trip itineraries yet, only know that I'm flying into London, and leaving from Bologna. We will probably visit Paris, Vienna, Prague, and a number of locations in Italy (Roma, Florence, Lucca, Tuscany, Bologna) I don't plan to ride in all these locations... just want to keep blood flowing in my cycling legs after being away from my "loved one" for so long. Are some locations better for bikes, than others? Epic hill climbs in any of these locations? (I think I've seen some instances in Tuscany /Carrara area)


I will add more details when I know them.


I did find a rental place in Bologna, but it's nearly 40Euro (50$) a day. Are they all that high?
