The Rossstronsity- Done!!

Just made the deadline I believe.

$20 for the bike
$20 for a seatpost to make it rideable
$6 for the seat, it’s terrible. So I’m saying $6.
I found a $5 bill on the last ride, so $41 total.

Do I win? Maybe the only schlub to enter two 26 in wheeled bikes?

well he seems to like the bike!

I love the way this color looks in the sun!
That's no clunker - pretty bike. I have a gold Peugeot PR10 and a gold Super Course, neither of which would have made it very far on $100 either. I just lucked into this $50 Legnano, but it's not gold.

My $50 as bought, $93 on the road, clunker. My July 4th ride.

I'll give it to the end of Sunday to finish this off, clunkerers.

Dang! Second consecutive challenge I’ve dropped out of. Or should I say “clunked out?” Still, looking forward to seeing what comes of this round for all those who’ve stuck it out.

So...... did anybody win?

I just picked up 2 excellent candidates for Challenge #6 if there is one and I have them in cold storage just waiting for the green light.

- following up: so was I declared the winner yet? I had nothing as nice as a couple of exhibitionist here. I truly had a kluncker.... (which, apparently people still race in California.... https://theradavist.com/2020/01/the-...-were-a-freak/ )

Anyway, if there's to be a CHALLENGE 6, I'd like to start keeping my eye out for some kind of English 3-spd.

cheers!
