Bike Bikes Bicycle Bicycles. "MOST OF THEM NEED SOME WORK"

A good find may be hidden amongst all that junk, but from what I can see its all junk unless you need ratbike parts and materials.

The white bike in the trailer on the end looks like something. Looks like a Silca pump.

You have a sharp eye. I see it too. If someone's into flipping that's a profit on its own.

This is on my local FB Marketplace, I'm getting a Thule roof rack from him as soon as he recovers from a medical issue and I asked him to set one frame from this picture aside for me. It's nothing special but it's a chrome moly frame with forged dropouts in my size and since I'm making the drive anyway I figured I might as well give it a look. I know the paint will be in tough shape from being piled up with all those others but for my purposes it doesn't matter. Otherwise it was mainly old Schwinn Varsities, low end Taiwan bikes, etc.

More like no box and RD cage is scratched from use. I shouldve posted the image before it disappeared from the ad.

Wow, how is the rubber so, um, moist? Have they lived in a vacuum-sealed bag all their lives? Did you just cut up pinkie erasers and stick 'em in there?

And why can't I see any drillium?

It's hard to tell with these things. I've seen them go for peanuts and for big money, stock. They're a funny item when it comes to tracking value.

The enamel was added by myself and is the second set I've ever done this way. The first sold way back in 2008 for $172.51; yes, I printed out that auction and kept it for posterity!

I have no idea what the ceiling will be this time, but it will be a fun ride to the end

No room for a drill bit anywhere!

Cross-drill through the fins from one end to the other with a tiny bit. Do we have to tell you how to do everything?

Large not large. Third time this one has come up for sale and the ad text is different each time. Sounds like a hipster got it and now flipping it, and those "faux-denim" panniers are Eclipse Pro bags that will only fit that Eclipse rack and they began life as blue Cordura with no pretensions to blue-denimness. Not a bad price, though.

Large Fuji Touring Bike - $300

This one cracks me up every time I see it. The guy has been trying to sell this on CL for about two years now.

Santa Cruz V10 2018 wife’s bike ridden only 5 times - $4275

image 5 of 15

Who buys a $6000 downhill-racing bike (and likely pays extra for 'the frame has been clear wrapped and also has an All Mountain frame protection kit installed') 'for a trip'?

Somebody with more money than sense, that's for sure.

Also I guess I'm out of touch with the downhill scene, but I can't believe a new bike of this pedigree is only a 1x7.
