My Torch kit is all here!!
After starting Doug Fattic's course I started slowly putting together my oxy-propane brazing kit. Today my tips from Paige Tool arrived. Now all the parts are in my shop!
I just had to finish spray painting some doors for a job and I will set up for FIRE!😁
Today I had a question come to mind. Since I don't know all what can be done with a brazing kit. Can you add bronze to damaged threads, internal, and retap a hole?
Thanks!

Yes some can fill damaged threads with brass/bronze and chase/retap. But it's best when the tap's threading matches up with the original threads. Sometimes leaving the starting thread or two void of brass filler will let the tap index witht eh orinal threads. Or running the tap in from the backside of the hole (and the likely less/un damaged threads there will start a tap).
This one of those repairs that we in the bike business seem to talk about, like a tube replacement, as being a plus for steel frames. But in real life the occurrences are less common and infrequently actually fixed by this method.
Good voyage on your home building! Andy

Could you list all the parts of your "kit'?
