This one might be the deal of the month - way better condition - not to mention the Arai drag brake in back which might justify the price all by itself: https://reno.craigslist.org/bik/d/re...889190386.html

Oldie - but a fun bike to take around a board walk...I have the three seat variant. Schwinn Town and Country...

https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/...906127751.html

Old (1940's? '50's?) Schwinn Tandem Bike. Has been restored years ago but could now use some paint restoration. It is solid, and heavy. Will get wheel size next time we get to Norristown. Haven't found serial number or frame size. Don't know what suspension or handle bars are called.

Attn tall riders!

Who was looking for a large tandem recently? Here's a 25" Cannondale that would be perfect for a very fair price:

If this Calfee/DaVinci were a L/M instead of the M/S it would no longer be available. Pretty much my ideal bike with a 5.25k buy it now.

Edit:

Well as expected that only lasted a couple of hours. Great deal for someone.

Unfortunately the drive side drop out on this was damaged in shipping. It is on its way to calfee to repair or replace the dropout and while they have it there they will add the newer style bracing for the rear disc. If you anyone is interested, once i have an eta on repair ill pay for the premium membership and post it here before going back on ebay.

Is this the bike you were going to upgrade to Di2 triple? Do you still have the parts you had accumulated for the Di2 conversion?

Bummer about the shipping damage. Why are you going to re-sell?

This tandem belongs to one of my blind stokers. He purchased it when he was just starting to lose his vision and had NO tandem experience. The independent pedaling system while ingenious has not been optimal for him and his situation. In addition, the bike has shifted poorly since he bought it. The plan was to upgrade it to XTR DI2 which would hopefully resolve shifting issues and I had started down that road for him. I spoke with Todd at DaVinci about the shifting performance issues and he indicated that the bike, setup by Crank2/Calfee with Shimano triple should have had his custom ramps(which it did) and his custom pinned 28 tooth front "ring"(which it did not) I ordered the custom pinned 28t ring from him and installed it on arrival and like magic shifting has been flawless. He has since purchased a new tandem that checks all the right boxes.

Yes, I have a new Cannondale Tandem frameset that has been hanging in my garage for all too long that is likely getting the XTR Di2 parts

Sorry about that! I edited the description elsewhere, but neglected that one. Size is 58/46 (largest frame-set up as pictured is for 6'3"+ captain and 5'4" stoker).

Tandem was shipped via bike flights (ups) and had been professionally packed by our lbs that is familiar with tandems. I can't be sure how the damage occured but there were two punctures on the box in the general area of the dropout. I paid for 5k of thier "premium protection" and i have to say once i got an official written quote from calfee for the repair, which was quoted as 1-2 days but took 3 weeks, the claim process and approval was pretty expedient.
