It's not a Cinelli SC, just has an SC bottom bracket. Campy droputs, Shimano fork ends, and what is up with those posts on the fork/fork crown? I sent a note to the seller asking for a close-up of that area.

I could be way off, but don't bz-on pivots for Mafac/similar centerpulls need to be way up higher than canti bz-ons?

Kinda feels like a mid-'70s to early-'80s one-off. I'd like to see what's happening with the downtube cable guides a little better.

Looks like the posts which came on Centurion Pro tour machines in some years. Post mounted centerpulls...

My wife and I used to have a Nishiki tandem that had some super-beefy centerpull brakes that attached to posts brazed on in about that location.

Yes, the posts are for direct mounting centre-pull brakes. Based on the posts and blade end treatment, the fork is OEM despite the Shimano dropouts. The Campagnolo/Cinelli/Shimano combination suggests a American or possibly lowlands European builder, while the features have me thinking very late 1970s, light tourer/randonneur.

I wonder why someone went ahead and pulled of the brakes, which will probably be tough to find ?

Also on the CL photos, you can nicely see the CP posts for the rear brake. I guess maybe it got stripped for a repaint, never accomplished, and the parts got lost in the yard sale.

Not sure how much that rust changes my opinion, but I'd be all over this at half the price. Looks like a fun 70s tourer. Wonder what the tubing is? Based on the seller's comments in the ad, I'm not sure how much more info you'd be able to get.

I saw this when he first listed it,it was priced at $600.00. After a week he relisted at $200.00, and now he has added new pictures and raised the price to $400, so likely he would take $200.

I'm glad to see some discussion on this frame, I saw it for sale a few weeks ago but was waffling on buying it so I never posted it on here.

I briefly talked to the seller; they are selling it for someone else so they don't have any real info.

I asked for the top tube length and they gave me a number of 21.5, seems excessively short but you never know. Maybe they measured the inside dimension between the lugs and not the CTC length.

I texted with the seller and found him to be unhelpful. Glad to hear more background from others here. This frame ticks a lot of boxes for me, but seller isn’t very motivated or accommodating.

He just stopped texting when I asked whether fork was actually a match given different fork ends. He wouldn’t confirm it’s the right size by measuring head tube and steering tube. I get that it’s likely a match given CP posts for brakes on both, but still, blurry distant pictures aren’t super helpful. Personally I don’t want to drive an hour to find a poorly cared for hobbyist-built frame.

It would also need to be very nicely made to be worth more than $100 to me. Long way to say seller is likely delusional about value but then again I’ve never seen a Cinelli Super Corsa with braze on centerpull mounts and touring eyelets. Hell, it’s not even on the cinelli timeline! Rarest of the rare!
