Do I Say Yes To Fuji?
My LBS has a 2013 model of the Fuji Absolute 2.1 for $350 and a 2014 Fuji Absolute 2.3 for $370.
For my riding purposes of non-competitive and fitness riding up to 25 miles per ride, will these get the job done reliably and without hassle?
I know I will upgrade to a better bike in a few years, so if possible, I'd like to not spend $500+ on a bike I know I'm going to sell anyways.
I'm going to check them out in person this week, but want to make sure the experts here can confirm that I am looking at solid bikes for the money and my needs.
So, do I say yes to Fuji if they fit?
Thanks!

As has been mentioned here before, the leftover Fujis are a great deal right now! (Actually, since Christmas) I don't know if your LBS is Performance Bike, but they seem to be the ones with the overstock. I haven't seen any 2014's priced as low but either bike is an excellent choice. Pick whichever you like better (most importantly, that fits you best).
They are the most bike for the money right now......at least until they're gone!

Assuming the two models are equally equipped, get the 2014 f9r $20 more. It may make it easier to sell in the future. Yes fuji makes a quality product.

The 2013 2.1 bike is a significant upgrade over the 2014 2.3. Get the leftover 2013 for $350. Looks like a good value for the money. That Fuji looks pretty much identical, or very close to a Trek FX 7.2, which retails for $550.

Thanks for the help and guidance!
I picked up a 2013 Fuji Absolute 2.1 19" frame yesterday.
I have only taken it around the block a few times, but so far I love it.
I will give it a proper ride this weekend and give a quick review.

Here is my new purchase taking a quick rest during the 20 mile ride. It's joy to ride. Thanks for your input regarding the Fuji Absolute 2.1

I've been lurking for a while, finally joined as a member, and am picking up the same model 2013 Absolute 2.1 from my local Performance Bicycles tomorrow. The leftover 2013's are a steal of a deal for what you get compared to other bikes out there. Even better since I liked the way it rode over the similar Trek, Giant, Diamondback, and Nishiki (Dick's exclusive, but a nice bike) offerings. I'm back in the saddle after not doing anything serious on a bike since college when I used to ride a Centurian road bike about 50 miles a week. I've been riding a heavy, steel frame Mongoose MTB about 20 miles a week to start and the thing is kicking my butt. Time to UPGRADE!
I'll post pics when I bring it home.
Cheers!
