Training in winter before 200km

The winter is coming in my country (Poland) and I can't do cycling anymore. When the winter ends I want to make two trips in Switzerland - cycle around Geneva lake (200km), and cycle from Geneva to Chamonix and back (~170km, hills).

Right now, today, I made 130km with the avarage 23,5km/h. This was my max, I couldn't do more. I ride on trekking bike.

My question is - how do I train during the winter, when I won't be able to make longer cycling trips, so that I'll be able to make those trips when it's warm again?

Thanks!

Go to a gym and use a static bike. Alternatively, buy a trainer and set it up in your home so you can ride indoors for a couple of hours each day.

To train for early season 200K randonnees, I did both of these. I took a spinning class 1-2 days a week, and bought a trainer so that I could ride at home as well.

I also got outside whenever I could ... any sunny weekend where the roads were somewhat reasonably OK.

Plus I did things like snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and weight-lifting.
