That's an amazing story. I had read part of his journal a while back when I was looking into the Tour Divide, so it's all the more odd to read something like this from someone you 'know.'

The guy must be a real adrenalin junky to voluntarily inject himself into the midst of the protesters, repeatedly. Thankfully, he managed to escape unscathed, with a world of memories. And some darn good pictures.
