The last 1/2 mile was rough as well.
Pros:
Well organized
Clearly marked routes
Great rest stop support
Mostly safe route in bike friendly areas (a few busy roads where some good ol' boys acted like tools) But for the most part the route was great
Good post ride meal and entertainment
Cons:
Ride had over 1,500 people, seating for maybe 100 for post ride meal. And I saw a lot of people who were done eating just sitting at the table. I had to eat standing trying to find shade. Kind of a downer end
T-shirt quality and graphics are crap. It's going in the painting shirt pile
This was my first GA400, would like to do the 100 next year schedule permitting.
BTW, doing the Senoia 100 century this weekend, anyone have any feedback on it?
