Most of the time I'm convinced BB30 is unfairly maligned
except for the time it takes me to replace it, and the time it takes me to forget replacing it.
Took me about 90 min. One side was easy, the other side always wanted to go in unevenly.
It has been about 3 years since I replaced it. Maybe 6k miles? Its my (mostly) fair weather bike.

In a perfect world, BB30 (and any other separated-bearing system) would have the same durability as a cartridge system. That said, and given the plethora of solutions for poor durability/noise/etc, the world is clearly not perfect. Misalignment, which reduces life, is still a problem, which is a large part of why a square-taper cartridge of decent construction (let's say...UN-55 level) can last 3-5 times longer than "modern" designs.
Considerable expense has been put into systems that essentially mimic the design of a square taper cartridge--BBInfinite, Wheels Manufacturing, et.al.
It's not for me, but there are solutions that would make it acceptable, if I had no other choice.

My 'standard' BB took me <5 mins to change, and that's as a total noob with zero experience. Seriously the hardest part was looking up on the internet which tool to buy to get it off, and then which direction to turn it to remove vs install it. Total cakewalk. Wish all bike parts were this simple.

My threaded BB with Shimano have never gone bad never had to do a thing. Working on 10k, 14k, and 3k miles on my bikes. I will not go to them unless forced because no one makes them anymore. All steel and TI builders still have them.

Non omnino gravis
I've never replaced an English threaded BB because it needed to be replaced-- only because I wanted to change the color. The cheap-as-dirt Formula BB that came OEM in my KHS was still absolutely smooth past 15,000 miles, and I never even touched the inside of it. It went in a drawer because I wanted one with gold cups.

Praxis Conversion and Enduro Torqtite bottom brackes make pressing anything into the frame a moot point. They are not adapters. Put them into the BB shell and screw together. Done.
It took me five minutes to install the Torqtite bottom bracket into a PF30 frame.
