The URL is extremely long. Does not look like he posted the right one.

Thanks I tried the short link, when you choose "share" and the longer link as described earlier. They now show up on my browser, earlier in this thread but evidently that's not universal. I'll try another hosting site at some point.

OK David, quick rundown. On imgur, opening the photo in a new tab and sharing that displays the link. On flickr, when you hit the Share button, select the BBCode option.

Update: I'm rolling craps every time. I'm using the following:

"[ IMG]https://imgur.com/vz4NvGQ[ /IMG]"

Can anyone spot an issue with my code? I remove the space after the "[" of course. I used the icon in the editor as well, pasting the link in the text field. Thanks.

I'm having issues posting as well. so I tried exporting my original from Apple's Photos app in sm, med and lg. Hoping it was size of the original that tripped me up (fwiw, i read the original thread on posting using the "< img>" tag with aces removed and will test from google and imgur):

large

medium

small

Now for Google:

small

Med

I'd like to see what you did different with the IMG tag to get the pic to show.
Thanks.

Thank you Master!

For the benefit of other struggling padawan, right-clinking on the image and using the location inserts a ".png" (or whatever file type it is). Seems like that is the key.

I have been away from the forum for awhile and thought I would attempt a Flickr hosted image. I guess a test before I make a fool of myself on the 3 Speed forum.

Sniff sniff. Time to find a replacement fork or pass on to a more dedicated 3 Speed addict? 70 is the year on hub.
