Shimano RD5600 with 28T

Hello,

im riding a Shimano rd 5600 11/27 GS 10 speed
RD 5600 handels Max 27T following Shimano datasheets.

I need to change my cassette but cant find the same online.
I only find a 25t or 28t on lower cog.

Can I combine a rd 5600 with 28T ?

thanks for the feedback!

Should be fine as the specs are usually a bit on the conservative side.

If your derailleur is a GS, it is a medium length cage. it's capacity is considerably more than 27T. I cannot remember what the max tooth is for the GS, but I am sure it is at least 34T and might be 37-39.The SS derailleur is rated at 27T max, but will usually handle bigger than that. https://accidentalrandonneur.wordpre...edium-or-long/
