Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Vegetarian since I was 4 years old (much to the dismay of my parents). Sorry. But uhh... I could eat a disgusting soy-steak?

The Jesus Lizard - Liar

I still think Chicago had the best music scene in the country back in the '90's.

my current playlist is made up of a lot of the punk/hardcore i listened to freshman/sophomore/junior years of high school:
bane, black flag, champion, gorilla biscuits, carry on, a.p.p.l.e., down to nothing, civ, american nightmare, give up the ghost, go it alone, chain of strength, dys, ignite, and much more like that.
and some random jazz thrown in: dave brubeck, dexter gordon, and charles mingus.

ooo Andrew Bird, I saw him live once, very cool. I'm more into girls...Laura Love, Neko Case, Indigo Girls, The Waifs, Be Good Tanyas...I could go on and on. as for dudes, Iron and Wine is ok, I love Duncan Sheik and Ryan Adams, dunno if they count as folk tho. oh and I've been pretty into the Magnetic Fields lately. and Poe. ok, that's random and 90s.
