If anyone has done this ride, what can you report re how much road support there is to help separate bike and cars?

I'd love to do it, but unfortunately, after many years of riding on the roads, I've developed a phobia of being too close to cars. The whole distracted driving thing (plus numerous friends having life-altering car/bike accidents) has worked its way into my brain and I ride almost exclusively paved trails at the current time.

Doing this event looks like tons of fun.

Oh, how I understand your phobia of cars. I have the same thing. I was travelling few years ago, there wasn't much traffic
