Bike short causing shrinkage
Please save me the junior high comments.
I have a canari short made of 92% Cotton and 8% Lycra and have no problem.
I have another short which is 80% Nylon and 20% Elastene, which I purchase from PBK.
The Elastene short is causing my middle leg to shrink like never before.
I'm wondering if its some sort of allergic reaction or because the size is too small.
Has anyone experience simiilar issue while wearing shorts with simillar material?
Thank you in advance and again, please no joking around.

Weird post.. Better to have a little temporary shrinkage rather than protruding objects getting in the way of one's steering.

Aaaaaaaaaaahahahaha!!! Aaaahahahahahaha!!!!
Sorry, but it had to be done.
I've occasionaly thought my shorts were too tight in that area, but never experienced a reduction in size. Do you get worried when you get into cold water? I'm guessing not, but it still is something that makes it temporarily go down in size. As long as it comes back with reasonable time and doesn't hurt then I personally don't see it should be much of a problem.

My advice: simply enjoy the riding and if necessary get and use different shorts that make you feel "comfortable."
Best regards

Would it not seem , that when your glutes are demanding more and more blood because they are oxygen deprived ; that your turtle would keep it's head hidden inside it's chute.

This was happening to a friend of mine and he ignored it. Wrong decision, Doc had to amputate after 6 months.
