Iverson Folding Bike - Researching this find

Hello,

A neighbor put a "curb alert" out and mentioned a folding bike. It was still there the next day. Is now mine instead of in the scrap yard.

Any help with info is appreciated.

Iverson Grand Touring, coaster brake.

Label and unusual front end

Will need a better look at locking mechanism

Better look at front end.

I have only had this for an hour or so, but had to tell somebody who may have the same small wheel affliction.

:-)

Just spent some time with "The Answer".

Ancient tires pumped up and held air. Noticed they were 1-3/8, 451's.

Seat post comes up very high, very nice.

Major, major drawback is the handlebars that do not rise up very high. Looks like a trip to the Metal Superstore

Looks fun. 451 rims are nice size but hard to find tires for. Loving those chopper style handle bars.

SS with a coaster brake?

Yes, SS with coaster, feels good and smooth. Handlebars are problematic as they are way, way, way too low. Gonna have to find some correct size ape hangers to sacrifice.

Seems it is a Auto-Mini with an Iverson Road Runner headset.

I'm thinking 2x 22.2 quill stem with 22.2 handlebar clamp. Attach ape hangers to them.

I'm confused, your dad owned the company that made the bikes?
