riding from DC to Brazil in September--for the climate
Hi all,
I just got back from a trip from DC to Chiapas, Mexico which was the first part of a trip all the way to Brazil. But I came back home for my sister's wedding, and now I plan to start again, only this time I am looking for three companions. We would talk about climate change and stimulate communities to work on integrating the solutions as we go. We will also educate folks about the policy options before Congress now, like the Climate Stewardship Act, the Global Warming Pollution Reduction Act and the Safe Climate Act.
I would prefer that the riders be between the ages of 22 and 30. I am working on getting this whole trip sponsored. My blog now is https://www.biketobrazil.blogspot.com.
cheers,
PJ

I'm a bit older than what you've listed, but good luck with the trip!

PJ! So glad to hear from you. I'm not in MR anymore, as you may have heard, due to a "change in family status." I followed your trip and I'm glad you're giving it another go. I was happy to see that you wore the safety vest that I gave you!
I hope the bike coop is going well.
Keep in touch (PM if you want)

Nice going. When I finish grad school (literature -- ecocriticism, as it happens) and can't find a job I'll definitely look you up. Hopefully by then I'll have learned some Spanish. Until then, best of luck.
