important questions about a long ride to San Francisco.
Me and my friends live in Santa Barbara CA, and are planning a ride to San Francisco. We are planning on camping the whole way up, and want to do it within a week. If anyone of you has any prefered routes and places to stay, and any important and usefull advice it would be really helpfull. thanks.

try the touring forum, you'll get better response there.
also if you don't have it, get a copy of "Bicycling the Pacific Coast" by Kirkandall and Spring.

There is the AIDS Ride that goes from SF to LA in about a week. Check their site and reverse the directions...
