1. I doth have donned my skinsuit, TT helmet, and race wheels and set forth upon my TT steed to play "robin hood" upon the kingdoms of those on Strava.
2. I doth have committed the grave sin of departing for a grand fondo journey without self sufficient tools (by accident). Upon departure, I had left my pump and tube on the top of my car. I flatted. For my sin, I paid the price of losing the draft of the big main group and had to ride solo for 45 miles after a kind SAG soul gave me a tube and pump.
3. When I was but a wee newcomer to the group ride, I committed the sin of attempting to "win" the group ride.

While waiting several minutes at a crossing in the cold rain for a completely stopped freight train, I found the car with the most ground clearance and was quickly on my way. Not dangerous in my opinion, (it takes a freight train much longer to start moving than it takes me to pass under) but definitely illegal.

today while approaching a yield sign where 2 single lane roads merge together to form one 2 lane road I looked over my shoulder to check for cars before getting into the left lane. I was suddenly startled to find a grey silent rider sucking my wheel. Much to my surprise that grey rider was actually my shadow.

I think what we're all doing, using common sense and being respectful, probably isn't illegal, at least in western states.

Better than my previous answer:
I have been swimming in the deeper portion of the roped-off swimming area of a public lake, and my swimming is so ugly the lifeguard yelled at me because he thought I was clearly too bad a swimmer to be in the deeper portion.
Even though I had swum two miles in that lake two days previously.
Triathlete swimming.

There are at least 3 newer bikes in attic storage that my wife doesn't know about. Otherwise I am a saint...

And the story isn't such a big deal. We were riding our bicycles, we kissed while riding, the handlebars "lip-locked" too and we went down. I remember feeling guilty because she had all the scrapes and bruises.

Oh my! No! No! No! The girl I kissed with the subsequent crash was my first girlfriend, my first love in high school. I met my wife eight years later.

No way to convince my wife to try though. She has only ridden a bike a couple of times in the last 10 years

Occasionally used "dropped chain" as an excuse after getting dropped.

Not all scofflaws are created equal...
******bags like Trump and Joe Arpaio need to have the book thrown at em so hard it takes their head off.
Folks determined to reclaim their birthrights from corrupt legislators in thrall to the car lobby are another matter.

May I suggest that trespasses against cars are Mortal Sins, and against pedestrians and other cyclists are Venial Sins (in the Catholic Tradition). My thusfar not reported Mortal Sin is riding the wrong way on one-way streets.
I have gained plenary indulgences for wearing mirrors, taking the lane as appropriate, and waving.

I have suddenly let out a really weird, disgusted "ugh!" just as some poor confused guy was overtaking me on the steepest Old La Honda hairpin yesterday. I had no idea you were back there, and I was actually reacting to the fact that I lost traction for a couple of standing strokes, not the fact that I was being passed. He must've thought I was super weird haha.

I have ridden over a bridge on a highway. Twice. (Highway 19 from Laval to Montreal QC.)
I have ridden while intoxicated
I've been ticketed for riding with no brakes, headphones on and no reflectors (all at the same time). Since I was ticketed, I guess they don't count as confessions...

I used up all the last of the TP at a busy crapper/port a potty with several others waiting in line to go.
I felt guilty. So I made up for it leaving a package of wet-wipes at another empty one later that week.
