Don't know his store. I mostly remember the guy though. Maybe I can give him a tip later.

Process of elimination. How many Pizza Hut locations are near the verbal threat incident zone? Would at least be funny to have him apologize to you in front of his boss - Kelly.

No! Having to do that job is punishment enough. He might luck out and get unemployment insurance.

How much trash have the MS riders left in your front yard today?

None, I was kind of surprised.

Felt sorry for some of the tail enders. They looked beat. I was going to stand out front and give them encouragement but I fell asleep in the garage instead.

Did you have some barley therapy?

To all:
If you every see Bayhawk Ales Chocolate Porter someplace and think, "That sounds interesting," I'll save you the trouble. It's interesting, but not because it's good.

I did 47 mile ride today beginning at PCH and Topanga, which went up and over Topanga, west along Mulholland to Kanan, down to the coast and back to TCB. There were a lot of roadies out, which is always nice. Around 10:30 along Mulholland, west of Stunt Rd, I passed a very large group heading east. There must have been 80+/- of them, and they looked like a big colorful train. They weren't hammering, but were packed together in a bunch while taking up most of the lane. Following them at various distances were other small groups and individuals who I'm guessing were dropped and trying to catch back on. I'll take a guess that it was the Simi ride that passed me. Very impressive size for this time of year.

What surprised me was that they would ride in such a large pack. The reason I say that is because after the heavy rain we got this week, the road was often littered with rocks and pebbles that were washed down from the nearby canyon walls. I had to keep a close eye on the road well ahead of me to avoid all the hazards, and I can't imagine being able to do that in a large group.

Anyone on that ride? What was the distance?

^^^ Funny how that brake is probably worth more than the rest of the thing. Note that it's not locked up.
