Pretty quiet in here.....
Considering they're racing on cobbles in Belgium! Caught the finish on YouTube today and it was good to see racers in leg warmers taking tight corners on narrow roads, spring classic season is here!

I wonder if it's because fans of cycling are starting to just tune out. Seems like all the doping allegations are having this effect -- you just can't believe anyone is racing clean.
After the Armstrong debacle, they were saying that biological passports was just the thing needed to make doping a thing of the past.
Seems like that's just NOT the case, now there are serious questions about team Sky.......it seems it'll never end. I have to admit, it kind of zaps my enthusiasm.

British cycling 'credibility' battered by drug investigation
Britain's anti-doping agency and legislators have spent months trying to verify the medication administered to Britain's most decorated Olympian, Bradley Wiggins, a year before he won the 2012 Tour de France.
Even after interviewing Wiggins, U.K. Anti-Doping is no closer to resolving a case that has exposed a lack of attention to detail that contrasts with the meticulous reputation crafted by Team Sky and British Cycling for precision planning, as the team sought "marginal gains" in the pursuit of glory.

The channel that has been carrying bike racing in Canada is not covering as many events. We just had Paris-Nice but that was the first of the year. I joined cycling.tv for the first time but and so far disappointed.

I've found the best way for me to watch is to just avoid Velonews until I catch it on YouTube. There are a few people who upload Eurosport coverage almost as soon as it's over and with the time zones it's not that bad. Occasionally I have to brush up on French or German,or just be amused by the sound of Flemish, but the big races usually get at least one English upload.

Twitter feeds are sometimes available . French, Itialian, Dutch, Polish, sometime English, which ever one works .
Kodi internet TV though cumbersome can produce at times when Twitter feeds fail .
Or a couple hours later as you mention Youtube . For me, with music as I speak English and Spanish only .

Just watched the final 30 minutes of Milan-San Remo on Steephill. Steephill is a good choice for highlights.

The classics season is by far the most exciting and best part of bike racing, I should be in here often to talk about the races.
MSR was exciting, E3 yesterday was too, GVA and Gilbert are on form and of course Sagan is as well. Flanders is my favorite, can't wait for that. Tomorrow should be another good one.

Eleven days ago on this thread I said I was unhappy with cycling.tv because they weren't covering many races. I am now content because I watched the 7 stages of the Volta a Catalunya, and the coverage was very good. The quality was excellent as I could watch full-screen with a crisp picture. There are more races coming up, though not some of the spring classics I would like to see. Now reasonably satisfied.
