I used to have a Planet X Stealth for the road, one of my favorite bikes of all time. Is that one the Kochi(sp?)
Looks sharp.

Yeah it's the Kochi San II. From what I could deduce it's basically their attempt at a Cervelo clone.

The lairy paintjob is because it was a good deal on an ex team frame that I picked up from their outlet store. Was planning on getting it resprayed eventually, but when it came out the box I let out an audible "oooo"

Have had this one in the works for a while and finally picked it up --- initial impression on the trainer is that it fits like a custom should fit --- The bars are higher than what some of you folks run, but that's by design -- (clearance for the Oktoberfest fuel tank plus 3 fused vertebrae will do that to ya ) ---- I figure a negative rise stem and some deeper drop bars would be an easy fix if the fuel tank gets depleted somehow though

cockpit is 3T, H/S is King, race wheels are Pro's, with a Sugino 75 chainset and Izumi chain. Pedals are my old Dura Ace track pedals (the ones with the almost unobtainable cleats) and Errebi Sprint straps, but i will likely run a KEO derivative with some BLS type straps when its time to finalize those details Note: pedals are not tight -- I just put them on for the pic as I thought it was blasphemous to take a pic of a track bike with the mtb style SPD's I used on the trainer ) The paint code was pulled from the VIN of my car

I have a set of alloy Campy Pista's that the bike will likely be wearing most of the time, as its maiden voyage off a trainer will be on a lonely piece of road somewhere , thanks to the closing of the Superdrome ---

For now, its fun to look at though

BTW, there is an IT lesson here: Never go all-in with one company that you like. They could easily be bought by a company that you do not. I used to be an Instragram user...until FB bought them. I was on MySpace then quit when Murdoch bought it. etc...

Spread your digital assets around. Don't go all-in with one

Just got this going today. I'll be replacing stuff bit-by-bit as the season gets closer to bigger weekend events, but for now I'm happy with "better than a rental." The first race of the season was last Thursday and it was my first time with the 3's. I had a blast and didn't get dropped, despite months of non-existent training. Feeling motivated to race my bike for the first time in years!

Getting a push from @carleton Friday night during the semi-final of the sprint tournament (which I eventually won). That's me down track (obviously?).

I watched those matches on YouTube. SF, you're a beast! Hi, @carleton!

This is one of those Chinese "open source" or whatever frames. I bought the frame used for $200. It rides well! This was last Tuesday, I was in the process of setting it up, hence the funky wheels. Oh, the ribs are doing okay. I'm about 85% back.

Here's another angle of the silly thing. It needs a little color.

Nothing wrong with those frames. Purported to the one of the best of the best of China carbon. There are some very fast sprinters pushing the limits of those frames and they appear to be holding up quite well.

Thank you, Brawlo!

Lizanne Fox has been riding one of these frames for a while, and she highly recommended it to me. I plan to use it as a pursuit bike. I have another bike coming that is going to replace my Giant for sprints and (maybe) mass starts. I'll post about it when I get it and get it built up.

Almost New Bike Day! Bobby Walthour sent me these photos of my new frame. He plans to deliver it to me next week some time. OMG, is it beautiful!
