Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Congrats with the fitness and weight loss markrj!

I have the exact same bike. You will enjoy the more you ride it. I got mine over a year ago and it's time for a wheelset upgrade. I will be putting some rol race or soul 3.0s on it next month.

Your bike is itching for some clipless pedals

They are clipless. Shimano PD-M324 SPD Compatible.

They are my beginner clipless pedals that I had on the 7300. I am moving them to the 1988 GT Karakoram when I get a proper pair for this bike.

I have to plan these purchases "strategically" so the better half doesn't get upset and all that.

Just bought one of these frames. Debating what to build it with (I'm going to try and use what I already have, Red, Zipps, FSA, Black/Red Fizik Aliante. Thinking black bar tape.) Would like to try Campagnolo (it's coming with 10sp Chorus) but powertap wheel issues will rear their head...

What are the battery life ratings of the Node 1, Node 2 and The Speedtrap Sensor?

We've been through so much together. I'll probably keep the frame forever, if only to hang up. After what she's been though she couldn't be anywhere but with me.
She'll be replaced by a team issue Felt next year.

Can anyone help me figure out how much to sell my Road Bike for?

Can you tell me how much my bike is worth. I think it's like 2 or 3 years old maybe someone gave it to me and I want to sell it. Thanks

there's a whole lot of scripts on that page that want to run.

My NoScript doesn't like your site. How about just describing it and attaching a couple pictures using [img] tags. This isn't the place for this question anyway.

Oh man I'm totally in the same boat! Gotta spread the buys out so the wife doesn't get crazy about them. And my wife is an accountant which makes it soooo much harder!

Just got it today:
1994 TREK 5200 56cm
OCLV full carbon
Ultegra 600 8 speed
No pics yet, have some up soon
Big upgrade for me compared to my poorly fitting 48cm 1990 Cannondale ST400 w/ downtube RSX shifters, and about 5 lbs lighter too

Hi there, here is my ride. Nothing impressive but it's all I need... for the moment.

The frame is a U.Scanini Aluminium with carbon front and rear fork.
Wheels are Campy Vento with Michelin Krylion on it (very, very good tires)
Groupset is a mix of Campy components (mainly Centaur)

Sorry for the pictures quality (taken with my cell phone and no, I don't have a camera).
I know my seat bag was open, but I had to take my phone

Are you being signed to an Argyle-clad, Felt-sponsored team? Or are you just getting the team issue because it's badass?
