1976 Schwinn Speedster 3 Speed
Looking for appraisal/valuation assistance.
I will be helping my neighbor sell this bike and was hoping to know what price to start out with. Older Schwinns are not really my thing. I will eventually create ads on St. Louis Craigslist and possibly eBay (local pickup only). It is currently in St. Louis, MO 63114.
So far as I can tell, it's a 1976 Schwinn Speedster with a Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub and 24 inch wheels. Frame is in Flamboyant Red and its condition is at least an 8.5 out of 10, maybe 9. I think the SA 3 speed system needs slight adjustment and a few chrome surfaces will need polishing. It has a couple scratches on the top tube also (that's the worst area of damage; see last photo). I have other close-up photos, upon request.
Thanks!

That bike is in beautiful condition, but 24" wheels will be a detriment.

24" = juvenile = limited value. Still condition is an A+. So you could try $125 on your local C/L, and if it doesn't sell (likely), then lower the price. And it might just sell for $125.
