Anyone know whats going on with my Bontrager Flare R?

Went out on a ride the other day and must not have closed the waterproof cap over the charging port. This light turned on and I noticed a little moisture inside the unit. Now I cannot turn the flare on or charge it and this little light on the back wont go off. Its been like this for 3 days.

Put it under a fan for awhile to dry it out. That works better than desiccants (silica gel, rice, etc), and is safer than heat.

A blower with a fine tip, like the Giottos Rocket blower or canned compressed air, might help direct some air into the USB port.

Some devices recover well from moisture, but don't wait too long to dry it out.

Tried some compressed air but no dice so far. It looks dry and wasn't all that wet when I brought it inside to charge after my ride that day. I read some reviews on treks website and saw alot of people complaining about its reliability in the rain. Bummer. I had no idea. Not sure this one is going to come back to life.

The light on the back wont go off though. Anyone know what that light on the back bottom is supposed to indicate? Its not part of the main blinking light and I've never seen in on in all my time using this thing

It is a 90 percent chance it is shot. I own one. Got it on sale but was warned that the one criticism of it was the propensity on some units for flap to come loose and if water gets into it bad to fatal things happen, (to the light.)
