Identify this Pinarello

Please help me identify my bike. I bought this bike used in approx 1991. It has a Shimano 600 group on it - I believe the original owner may have imported the frame only and then built it up here in Australia. Even though I assumed these would have come with Campag groups, the Pinarello catalogues do say though that they supplied with choice of any Shimano or Campagnolo group.

In particular, I cannot find any other examples with the same stamps as these on the fork caps. The seat stay caps are also unusual but I found a Veneto and an Asolo the same online but not sure these were correctly identified either, and difficult to find further examples.

Thank you for your help!

It has a Columbus SLX decal which would typically indicate a Montello, but I think that's a red herring. It doesn't have an other other Montello features such as a bridgeless bottom bracket shell , internal brake routing or investment cast lugs. It has a front derailleur hanger but no pump peg and only appears to have a single set of bottle bosses, so I'd place it circa 1983-1985. Model is most likely a Treviso with Columbus SL, however we can increase the confidence by a couple of simple checks. What size is the seat post? Are there five helical ridges inside the bottom of the fork's steerer tube?

I think this is a great repaint of a pearl over white paint job. But is not correct with the Columbus sticker. Likely some lower model and probably the Trevisio model suggested by T mar. If the PO wants to correct it, decal sets for Pinarello are available to make it period correct. But if it is going to be a daily rider then it doesn't matter. Smiles, MH
