Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

So it looks like our winner will be @LAJ, with his 750-something miles & 350ish posts, combined score of 1100 units. @Velo Vol needs 600 miles to be a contender. Of course I actually have no idea how much he rides his bike, because come to think about it, he rarely talks about cycling.

I just got them today. The fit seems pretty much spot on which, for me is very exciting as American cut clothes are either too short or tents. They have three fits, "classic", "slim" and "extra slim". In 41 terms, that's "fred", "roadie" and "datlas". The "slim" follows my form without being tight and I can tuck the shirts in without performing origami.

@Velo Vol is the only real cyclist here.

Did anyone else post mileage? Seems like they did but I'm too lazy to skim all those stupid posts.

Heathpack posted mileage earlier today, I think...but she might have done a double metric since then...

I would like to point out that I had 800+ miles in August. Stupid vacation.

I wound up with only one ride last month. 24.1 miles.

Currently reading an analysis of Johannes Huizinga's "Magic Circle" introduced in his book "H*mo Ludens". Also seriously considering buying the Knog Party Coil even though the Party Frank has a funner name and more options for innuendo.

And furthermore @Velo Vol, I very clearly said "Begin Again" as a whole was not a bad song as these things go. It is that one bit especially that sticks in my craw. Also, the glasses in "Shake It Off" are much fuglier.

Wait - who is this? I hate, and often run in to, the yards of excess fabric around the midsection of button-downs.

edit: never mind, looked at the last few pages of the closed thread and figured it out. Cool - will bookmark them.

They also have a liberal return policy and come with a return shipping label so it's a pretty low risk purchase.
