I purchased the bike a month ago, and now around 600kms. I think I need to reduce the handlebar stem. You can see it's quite long. I will take it in for a first service soon and get the gears set up correctly as well. I still have to push twice to get the chain onto the larger front plateau. But Campy are really the thing when all you want is a good hard "clank!" change. I am doing the lake of Neuchatel (110kms-68m) often but have a goal to do the round trip of the three large lakes in my area (Neuchatel, Bienne and Morat) which makes up a century (160kms-100m). This is my aim anyway this year. Next year will be the peaks in the alps (4000m climbs). But again I need to do some serious training for that!!! Switzerland is like that. Take care.

Thanks for the encouragement. What Swiss Alps Marathon would that be?

Hi there.
Here is a last picture of mine, taken during today's ride. A short stop to eat a bar
By the way, what color to choose for my new bar tape ? blue, black, white ? other ? the current one is dirty with many scratches i need to change it anyway.

I think white is awesome, but there is not really enough white on your bike to justify it ( seat, cages etc...) I would do black. or just clean what you have with simple green.

Weighs in at a little over 18 pounds with pedals/cages/computer. I wasn't expecting it to be this heavy, but I'm happy with it and it rides great. A few changes since last picture.

Nothing fancy here! Just my 18 pound, compact frame road bike. Handles my long distance rides like I was going around the corner.
Don't know how to get it to full size, but click on it and it will go full size.

Free bikes are never free. This one has cost me $30. Bar tape, tube, seatpost, and my old saddle.
Anyone know what year it is? I'm thinking 95.

'06 Fuji Roubaix SL with a mix of 5600, 6600, and 6700. I bought it as a frame and transferred most of the parts from my old Fuji, and built a new wheel set.
