Panaracer T-Serve Protite
Anyone use these in 26x1.5? I like the Pasela’s and thought these would be a nice touring tire. Any feedback from users?

There’s a T-Serve and a Protite. Don’t know of a T-Serve Protite. When I used them the T-Serve was heavier with black sidewall. I found that the T-Serve sidewalls lasted longer. Both very nice riding tires.

Just what I saw on EBay, that’s what they are listed as and didn’t know anything about them.

no personal experience, but at 420g they are less than half of the ETs you have on the bike now, so you'd shave off two pounds of rotating mass right away, which will make the bike feel a lot more lively when accelerating and climbing.
Hope you find some good riding experience and longevity reviews.

Start searching LBS estore listings instead of eBay. Google any popular bicycle product by it's correct name and you will be presented with dozens of bike shops' listings, in USA and Europe (German shops are often a real bargain for buying all your Tubus/Ortlieb).
I've used Panaracer T-serve in 26x1.75" for several years, it is a good utilitarian tire. Kenda Kwest in 26x1.5" is an excellent value tire, usually half the price of T-serve, and I have put tens of thousands of miles on Kwests. There are often ignored by many bicyclists as "too cheap to be any good".

I went with the Kenda Kwest tires and SKS fenders. MyDisc Trucker is coming together nicely. Just put my new Tubus rack on today .

Kenda Kwest 26x1.5 comes in two versions: regular and high pressure rated for recumbent bikes/trikes. The high pressure Kwest is hard to find and costs more. I ordered one, tried it and was unimpressed - also the 100psi may damage/crack your rim. Stick with the cheap Kwest, still under 20 bucks in some shops:

Kenda has maintained a bike tire catalog for decades now, where they regularly list new models that appear perfect for trekking but can be found nowhere. Conversely, their formerly ubiquitous Kwest model is no longer presented or even searchable in the catalog:

Perhaps it has been discontinued?
