my battery cuts off at 35.8v... is this normal? what should be the ideal cutoff voltage of a 36v battery?

Should be 10s if most Lithium systems and charge to 42V (4.2 X 10). Probably nearly discharged at 30V. I use mostly 52V batteries and don't run them down past 47V (20% SOC).

I have a few 36V controllers. They're set to shut off at 30-31volts. The battery, if left to its own devices, would probably go down to about 26volts, but unless you have something like a 36V17AH pack, there's not much power in a 36V 10AH pack at 32 volts.
